Stephanie Vazquez is a bilingual Miami Trademark Attorney focused on all aspects of trademark clearance, trademark preparation, trademark filing, trademark prosecution, as well as trademark enforcement. A Miami native, Stephanie has experience regarding wide variety of both domestic and international trademark matters. These include preparation of trademark cease and desist letters, as well as responses to trademark demands. In addition, Stephanie has assisted in preparing a variety of trademark clearance and freedom to operate opinions, as well as assisted in due diligence regarding several brand launches.
Separate from her experience in trademark transactional matters, Ms. Vazquez assists in a variety of aspects relating to trademark infringement claims (and the defense of such claims). This includes pre-filing investigations prior to making a trademark enforcement claim, drafting of trademark infringement complaints, preparation of discovery to advance trademark lawsuits, as well as assist in related motions to compel, motions in limine, motions for summary judgment, etc.
Stephanie graduated from the University of Florida College of Law (Top 15% of her Class) with a certificate degree in Intellectual Property Law. At UF Law, she received the Book Award in Trade Secret Law, was inducted in the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, and served as a Teaching Assistant. Before attending law school, Ms. Vazquez received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. As an undergraduate engineering student, Ms. Vazquez served as a Research Assistant in the Mechanical Engineering Department – where she assisted in research focused on cell characterization testing using atomic force microscopy. She was a founding member of the Upsilon Delta Chapter of her sorority, Chi Omega.
